Frequently asked questions

Everything about turning YouTube videos, PDFs and text into notes, flashcards, quizzes and podcasts with Lexidapt AI.

What is Lexidapt AI?

Lexidapt AI is an AI study assistant that turns any YouTube video, PDF, or block of text into study notes, flashcards, quizzes, fill-in-the-blanks, and audio podcasts in seconds. It is built for school and competitive-exam students — including CBSE, ICSE, state boards, JEE and NEET — and generates study material in 102 languages, including 22 regional Indian languages, and the app itself is available in English plus eight Indian languages.

Is Lexidapt AI free?

Yes — Lexidapt AI has a permanently free Standard plan, no credit card required. The Standard plan includes study notes, flashcards, quizzes, fill-in-the-blanks, the Ask Lexi chat, the study journal and ranking. Pro (from ₹449/month) adds audio podcasts and much higher monthly limits. Elite (from ₹649/month) adds exam question papers, worksheets, presentations, study reports and Google Calendar sync on top of everything in Pro.

How do I turn a YouTube video into notes?

Paste the YouTube link into Lexidapt AI and it generates clean, structured study notes from the video in seconds. It reads the video’s transcript, so you get exam-ready notes without watching the whole thing — and can then create flashcards, a quiz, or an audio podcast from those same notes.

Can Lexidapt AI make notes from a PDF or my own text?

Yes. Upload a PDF — a textbook chapter, a set of slides, or your own material — or simply paste text, and Lexidapt AI produces structured notes from it. The same source can then be turned into flashcards, quizzes, fill-in-the-blanks and a listenable podcast.

Does Lexidapt AI work for JEE, NEET, CBSE and ICSE?

Yes. Lexidapt AI is tuned for Indian curricula — CBSE, ICSE and state boards — and for competitive exams including JEE and NEET. On the Elite plan it can also generate exam-style question papers that follow the published CBSE, ICSE, ISC, JEE and NEET exam patterns, and worksheets; for other boards, including state boards, a paper is built to the marks and question types you choose.

What languages does Lexidapt AI support?

The app interface is available in English and eight Indian languages (Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada and Punjabi), and study content can be generated in over 100 languages. You can study a topic in your own language even when the source material is in another.

Does it make flashcards and quizzes automatically?

Yes. From any note, Lexidapt AI auto-generates flashcards, multiple-choice quizzes that are graded instantly, and fill-in-the-blank exercises. The quizzes are written to test understanding of the note, not just surface recall.

What are Lexidapt AI audio podcasts?

AI podcasts are two-voice audio versions of your notes that read and explain the material, so you can revise while commuting or resting your eyes. They are generated from any note on the Pro and Elite plans and play right inside the app.

How much does Lexidapt AI cost?

Lexidapt AI is free forever on the Standard plan. Pro starts at ₹449/month and adds Deep Dive podcasts and a much larger monthly allowance for notes, flashcards and quizzes; Elite starts at ₹649/month and adds presentations, worksheets and exam question papers. See the pricing page for current plans and any annual discount, and the Terms for the exact monthly limits on each plan.

Is my data private and safe?

Yes. Lexidapt AI keeps an auditable consent record and does not sell your personal data, in line with India’s DPDP Act. Uploaded files are processed and then discarded, never stored; only the text taken from them and the study material made from it are saved to your account, and they are used only for your own studying.

Can schools use Lexidapt AI for their students?

Yes. Lexidapt AI offers institutional (bulk) access so a school can give its students full study tools under one contract. Reach out at greetings@lexidapt.ai to set up a school pilot or bulk plan.
