Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Ryong Intelligence Group, a company registered in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India ("Lexidapt AI," "we," "our," or "us").

1.2 Capacity & Age

By creating an account or using Lexidapt AI, you represent and warrant that either:

• –You are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, OR
• –You are a minor (under 18) and your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf and has given verifiable consent to your use of the service, OR
• –You are a student using Lexidapt AI through an institutional school contract where your school has provided the required consent

If you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for supervising your use of Lexidapt AI. Where a minor uses the service, the parent or legal guardian — and not Lexidapt AI — bears responsibility for that use and for ensuring appropriate consent is in place.

1.3 Minor Users & Parental Responsibility

If you are under 18 years old:

• –A parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you use the service
• –Your parent or legal guardian is solely responsible for your use of Lexidapt AI, for supervising that use, and for any consequences arising from it — this responsibility rests with the parent or guardian, and not with Lexidapt AI
• –School contracts constitute institutional consent for enrolled students
• –We reserve the right to terminate accounts if we discover a minor is using the service without appropriate parental or institutional consent

1.4 Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

2.1 What Lexidapt AI Provides

Lexidapt AI is an artificial intelligence-powered educational platform that provides:

• –Automated study note generation from uploaded PDFs, YouTube links, and audio
• –Flashcard and quiz generation
• –AI-powered podcast creation (Pro and Elite)
• –Interactive chat with study materials
• –Question paper generation (Elite/Teacher)
• –Presentation creation (Elite)
• –Study journal with its calendar view, and ranking (all plans, including Standard)
• –Google Calendar sync (Elite)
• –Fill-in-the-blank exercises
• –Worksheet generation (Elite)
• –Weekly and monthly study reports (Elite)

2.2 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

2.3 Service Availability

We strive for maximum uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

• –Service interruptions or downtime
• –Temporary unavailability of AI providers
• –Maintenance windows
• –Force majeure events

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use Lexidapt AI you must create an account using either Google Sign-In (via Google OAuth) or email and one-time password (OTP).

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• –Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• –All activity that occurs under your account
• –Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use at: greetings@lexidapt.ai
• –Keeping secure the email inbox and the Google account you sign in with — Lexidapt AI has no passwords, so anyone who can read your sign-in codes or use your Google account can sign in as you

We are not liable for loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false information.

3.4 One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one Standard account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent subscription requirements or Standard-plan usage limits is prohibited and may result in permanent ban.

3.5 Account Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, for:

• –Violation of these Terms
• –Uploading illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• –Attempting to abuse or circumvent our systems
• –Non-payment of subscription fees
• –Any fraudulent activity
• –Behavior harmful to other users or our platform

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

4.1 Available Plans

The exact monthly and daily allowances for every feature on every plan are set out in Section 16 (Plan Usage Limits), which is the authoritative statement of those figures. They are stated once, in that Section, so that it and this one cannot disagree. Allowances reset on the 1st of each calendar month, Indian Standard Time, and do not carry over.

4.2 Billing Currency

All prices are listed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR). If you pay using a card or account denominated in another currency, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees which are your sole responsibility.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Razorpay (razorpay.com). By subscribing you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details — they are handled entirely by Razorpay.

4.4 Subscription Billing & Autopay

• –New users start on the permanent Standard plan described in Section 5.5 — there is no time-limited trial to expire
• –To start a paid plan you set up autopay (recurring UPI AutoPay or card mandate) via Razorpay
• –Monthly plans: auto-charged every 30 days; Annual plans: auto-charged every 365 days
• –Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel
• –You authorize Razorpay to charge your chosen payment method on each billing date

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of price increases via email. Price changes take effect at your next billing cycle after the notice period.

4.6 Failed Payments

• –If an autopay charge fails, Razorpay retries per its standard schedule
• –You will receive notification of the failure
• –If payment is not completed, your account simply moves to the permanent Standard plan at the end of the paid period
• –Your notes and data are retained on the Standard plan — nothing is deleted for non-payment
• –You can re-subscribe at any time to restore paid features

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account Settings page or by emailing greetings@lexidapt.ai. Cancelling stops future autopay charges only — you keep full access to your paid plan for the remainder of the period you have already paid for (for example, if 20 days remain, you keep Pro/Elite for those 20 days). When that period ends, your account moves to the permanent Standard plan and all your data is retained.

5.2 No Refund Policy

5.3 Limited Exception — Extended Outage

The ONLY exception to our no-refund policy: If Lexidapt AI experiences a verified, documented service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours, you may request a pro-rated service credit (not a monetary refund) for the outage period. Credits must be requested within 7 days of outage resolution at greetings@lexidapt.ai.

5.4 Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback for charges that comply with these Terms is a violation of our Terms. Chargeback attempts may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and collection action.

5.5 Standard Plan

The Standard plan is available at no cost and does not expire. It carries the monthly usage limits described in Section 16. When you reach a Standard-plan limit, that feature is paused until the next calendar month or until you upgrade to PRO or ELITE. Your notes and content remain available while your account is active. The Standard plan is provided once per email address, and creating additional accounts to reset usage limits is prohibited.

5.6 Annual Plan Cancellation

If you cancel an annual plan, you retain access until the annual period ends. No refund is issued for remaining months. You will not be charged for the next year.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

6.1 Permitted Uses

• –Personal educational study
• –Academic note-taking and revision
• –Teacher lesson preparation and assessment
• –Institutional educational use under contract

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Lexidapt AI to:

• Upload or process content you do not have the right to use
• Generate content that violates copyright
• Upload pornographic, violent, hateful, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse engineer our AI systems
• Scrape or extract data via automated means without written consent
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or Standard-plan usage limits
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Use the service to harass, harm, or discriminate against any person
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law
• Generate academic work to submit as your own in violation of academic integrity policies (see Section 7)

6.3 Content Standards

All content you upload must be content you have the legal right to upload, must not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, must not contain personally identifiable information of third parties without consent, and must comply with all applicable laws.

7. Academic Integrity

7.1 User Responsibility

Lexidapt AI is a study tool designed to help you learn, not to do your work for you. You are solely responsible for:

• –Ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with your school's academic integrity policies
• –Proper attribution when required by your institution
• –Understanding your institution's policies on AI tool usage
• –Any academic consequences arising from how you use our service

7.2 No Liability for Academic Consequences

Lexidapt AI is not responsible for any academic penalties, disciplinary action, or consequences arising from your use of our service in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

Lexidapt AI and all associated technology, software, branding, designs, and content are owned by Ryong Intelligence Group and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software
• Use our brand name or logo without written permission
• Reverse engineer any part of our service
• Create derivative works based on our service

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Lexidapt AI. By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content to generate study materials and store your content and generated materials.

We will never:

• Sell your uploaded content to third parties
• Use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent
• Share your content with other users

8.3 AI-Generated Content Ownership

Content generated by Lexidapt AI based on your uploads belongs to you, subject to the underlying content's original copyright and these Terms.

8.4 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback without compensation to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

10. Limitation of Liability

Lexidapt AI makes no guarantee that use of our service will improve your academic performance, exam scores, or educational outcomes.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ryong Intelligence Group and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• –Your use of Lexidapt AI
• –Your violation of these Terms
• –Your violation of any third-party rights
• –Your uploaded content
• –Your violation of any applicable law
• –Any academic integrity violation arising from your use of our service

12. Third-Party Services and Links

12.1 Third-Party Services

Lexidapt AI integrates with third-party services including Google OAuth, third-party AI language and voice providers, transactional email, and a payment processor (Razorpay). These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.

12.2 External Links

Our service may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of external websites.

12.3 YouTube Content

When you use YouTube links to generate study materials, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process that content. We access only publicly available captions and are not responsible for the accuracy of YouTube-sourced content.

12.4 Supported Languages

Lexidapt AI can generate study materials in 102 languages. Indian languages (and Indian-curriculum English) are processed by specialized regional AI language models; all other global languages are processed by global AI language models, with automatic fallback between providers. The full list of currently supported output languages is: English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Assamese, Nepali, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Santali, Manipuri (Meitei), Bodo, Maithili, Dogri, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Czech, Romanian, Greek, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Irish (Gaeilge), Maltese, Icelandic, Albanian, Bosnian, Macedonian, Basque, Catalan, Galician, Welsh, Chinese (Mandarin), Cantonese (Yue), Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog (Filipino), Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Burmese, Khmer, Lao, Sinhala, Mongolian, Kazakh, Uzbek, Turkmen, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Azerbaijani, Georgian, Armenian, Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Hebrew, Turkish, Kurdish, Pashto, Swahili, Amharic, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Nigerian Pidgin, Zulu, Xhosa, Afrikaans, Somali, Malagasy, Oromo, Shona, Haitian Creole, Latin, Esperanto. Language coverage and quality may vary by source material and may change over time.

13. School and Institutional Contracts

13.1 Contract Terms

Schools and institutions signing contracts with Ryong Intelligence Group agree to:

• –Ensure all students using the platform have appropriate parental consent where required
• –Provide accurate student email lists
• –Promptly notify us of students who should be removed from access
• –Use the platform only for legitimate educational purposes
• –Comply with all applicable data protection laws in their jurisdiction

13.2 School Administrator Responsibilities

School administrators are responsible for communicating these Terms to students, ensuring compliance with their institution's academic integrity policies, and managing student access appropriately.

13.3 Contract Termination

• –By either party with 30 days written notice
• –Immediately by us for Terms violations
• –No refund for early termination by institution

14. Privacy

Your use of Lexidapt AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14.1 What happens when you delete your account

Closing your account is not the same as erasing it. When you delete your account we close it and stop showing your content in the app straight away. We then retain the underlying data for a minimum of 30 days, and we may retain it for longer — including to develop and improve Lexidapt AI. Retained data is never restored to your account and is never shown to another user.

If you want that data erased outright rather than retained, email greetings@lexidapt.ai and ask for erasure. A person reviews every such request. Payment records are kept for 7 years regardless, because the law requires it.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Dispute Resolution — Informal First

Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to attempt informal resolution by emailing greetings@lexidapt.ai with a description of your dispute and allowing us 30 days to respond.

15.3 Binding Arbitration

IF INFORMAL RESOLUTION FAILS, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING ARBITRATION rather than in court, except for intellectual property disputes and emergency injunctive relief. Arbitration shall be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), with the seat and venue of arbitration at GIFT City, Gujarat, India, and proceedings in English.

15.4 Class Action Waiver

YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST LEXIDAPT AI.

15.5 Jurisdiction for Court Matters

For matters not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.

15.6 Indian Users

Nothing in this arbitration clause limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (India) or the IT Act 2000 (India). Indian users may also seek redressal through the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

15.7 Time Limitation

Any claim against Lexidapt AI must be brought within ONE YEAR of the event giving rise to the claim, or be forever barred.

16. Plan Usage Limits

16.1 How Limits Work

Each plan includes a monthly allowance for every feature. Allowances reset on the 1st of each calendar month, Indian Standard Time. Unused allowance does not carry over to the following month. In this Section, an "audio lesson" means a Deep Dive podcast.

Alongside the monthly allowances, each plan has a daily limit on the total number of AI generations, which protects service quality for all users during periods of heavy demand. This daily limit resets at midnight Indian Standard Time.

16.2 Standard Plan

• –2 sets of study notes per month
• –1 flashcard deck, 1 quiz and 1 fill-in-the-blanks set per month
• –30 Ask Lexi messages per month
• –5 note edits per month
• –20 AI generations per day
• –Study journal and ranking are included
• –Deep Dive podcasts (audio lessons), question papers, worksheets, presentations and study reports are not included

16.3 Pro Plan

• –70 sets of study notes per month
• –7 new audio lessons per month
• –40 flashcard decks, 40 quizzes and 40 fill-in-the-blanks sets per month
• –120 Ask Lexi messages per month
• –30 note edits per month
• –150 AI generations per day
• –Study journal, ranking and note export are included
• –Question papers, worksheets, presentations and study reports are not included

16.4 Elite Plan

• –95 sets of study notes per month
• –12 new audio lessons per month
• –60 flashcard decks, 60 quizzes and 60 fill-in-the-blanks sets per month
• –150 Ask Lexi messages per month
• –40 note edits per month
• –30 question papers and 15 question paper edits per month
• –90 single-question edits per month
• –30 worksheets and 20 presentations per month
• –400 AI generations per day
• –Study journal, ranking, note export, study reports and calendar sync are included

16.5 Deep Dive Podcasts (Audio Lessons) and Shared Audio

Only newly created audio lessons count against your monthly allowance. Where an audio lesson has already been created for the same material, settings and language, it may be served to you from our shared library at no cost to your allowance — so listening to material another user has already generated is unlimited.

Audio lessons have a maximum length. Voice quality may vary between audio lessons depending on your plan and how many you have created in the current month; where a higher-quality voice is not available to you, the audio lesson is still produced using a standard voice.

16.6 Source Material Limits

Uploaded documents are subject to a maximum file size and a maximum page count. Very long source material may be summarised across its full length rather than reproduced in full. Where a document exceeds a supported limit, we will tell you rather than silently produce a partial result.

16.7 Fair Use and Changes to Limits

These allowances are set at levels intended to comfortably exceed ordinary personal study use. They exist to prevent automated abuse and to keep the service reliable and affordable for everyone.

We may adjust these allowances from time to time. Where a change reduces an allowance on a paid plan in a way that would materially affect your use, we will give you notice in advance and you may cancel under Section 5. Institutional and school contract allowances are set separately in the applicable contract and are not covered by this Section.

If you reach an allowance, the affected feature becomes unavailable until the allowance resets. Reaching an allowance for one feature does not affect the features for which you still have allowance remaining.

17. General Provisions

17.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lexidapt AI regarding your use of our service.

17.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

17.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.

17.4 Assignment

You may not assign your account or rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

17.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, war, government actions, internet infrastructure failures, third-party service outages, or pandemics.

17.6 Language

These Terms are written in English. Translations may be provided for convenience only. In case of conflict, the English version prevails.
